Zone Conference Newcastle

The Divine Companionship of the Holy Ghost was the theme. We started off in
Newcastle and will make our way around the mission over the next couple of weeks.

Elder Ottley is one of our Zone Leaders and instructed us during the first part of the conference.

Elder Reed and Elder Christensen #1 (we now have three).

Breaking for lunch! Elder Huff and Thorsen.

Elder Deihl (AP), gives our conference a thumbs up!

 Newcastle Zone!

Elder Cox had a birthday this month!

The Zone Leaders asked me to speak about Christlike Companionships
We had a great discussion about positive ways to hold companionship inventory!

Elder Jewkes, (ZL), also instructed us!

 The Browns!

 Time to sing!

 The missionaries have great voices!

Elder Jewkes accompanies us!

The conference was uplifting and inspiring! We learned a lot about the importance of the Holy Ghost. He is every missionaries third companion, the greatest trainer, and greatest teacher!

  1. Brother & Sister Thompson!
I can't thank you enough for all you do for the Durban Missionaries and specifically our son, Elder Jewkes. He loves you both so much! I'm grateful for all he is learning from you. Thanks too for the amazing photo's and post on this blog! I know it is so much work to keep a blog like this up to date especially when you have so many other responsibilities! It means so much to me to get to learn about and follow what is happening in the mission. Seeing my son's face occasionally is an added bonus! Thank you! Thank you! Praying for you always!

I love his humility and his fun sense of humor! He is very personable and has an incredible grasp of his missionary purpose. He is really doing a phenomenal job - we love and appreciate him immensely! Thank you for your prayers and support!
