Going to Durban South Africa
Standing at the famous missionary map at the MTC at the Mission President Seminar. First meeting with the twelve apostles was phenomenal, edifying, and uplifting. We are eager to go to Durban and meet our missionaries next week!

With Dallin Oaks and Mark Palmer
We were thrilled that most of our family could be with us to meet with Elder Dallin H. Oaks of the Twelve Apostles, and Mark Palmer of the Seventy. Kip was set apart as Mission President by Elder Oaks, and Brother Palmer set Sister Thompson apart as a missionary, companion, and special representative of the church. We were thrilled to see Mark Palmer, who is a dear friend of ours. He was our Stake President in Austin, and a dear family friend for the twelve years we lived there. A very special day for all of us!
