We were so blessed to see so many at our homecoming - on August 11th.
We are so blessed to have had such great support from so many people that we love!
After sacrament meeting, many of our family, friends and missionaries joined us at our home for an open house and a chance to talk and take a few photos!
I spoke first! I was overwhelmed to see that the entire chapel and gym was filled to capacity! So excited to see family and our former missionaries!
We invited all those that served in South Africa to come up and sing "Called To Serve"
 Kip concluded!
Our Bishop presented us with our plaque that was hanging in the hallway for the last three years!
Our former missionaries, friends, and family!
Sorry - but I'm still going to call our former missionaries by ELDER!
Elder North and his wife talking to Elder Adams and his wife!
So thrilled to see Sister Wright. Her son was an extraordinary missionary, but unfortunately passed away in December of 2017.  Two months before his passing, Sister Wright and Elder Wright visited
me when I returned home for a grandaughter/grandson birth. They brought this beautiful handmade bag (see below) and gave to me. I was touched. This bag has become important to me! It is a reminder of this dear Elder whom we came to love dearly, and were saddened at his passing. I brought it to Sacrament meeting when we spoke so that I could have a part of Elder Wright with us at our homecoming.
My special bag given to me by Elder Wright and his mom.
