A December to Remember in Bloemfontein

Bloemfontein Zone Christmas

Our theme is 12 Steps to Christ

Each Zone has planned their own Christmas event. We started in Bloemfontein, held at our senior couples boarding, Elder and Sister Hicks!

This was so much fun being with these missionaries - there is nothing like a home atmosphere to share holiday food, stories, games, and music!

The real Christmas, however, is the service the missionaries are doing this month.

Each Zone has planned a service project to do together!

Each Zone, District, or Companionship, or individuals are doing the following acts of service:

3 acts of service for a member

3 acts of service for an investigator

3 acts of service for a leader

3 acts of service for a family member

These all add up to 12!!!

Next,

Each individual is doing an act of service every day for 12 days leading to Christmas (or Christ)!

At each Zone event, I encouraged the missionaries to write a gift to give to Christ (after all it is His birthday!)  They rolled up their paper, tied a ribbon around it, and will share that gift with their companion on Christmas morning!
