SAYING GOODBYE IS SUCH SWEET SORROW

Yes, Elder Christensen, it is actually time to leave!

We'll keep you, if you want to stay Elder Lowe!

Elder Hauck is thinking about his last night at the bunkhouse!

Elder Harbertson reflecting on the last night at the bunkhouse!

Elder Russell also reflecting on his last night at the bunkhouse!

We are all sad you are leaving!

 Elder Phillips cheers us up!

 Elder Fullmer is deciding!

Love all of these young men! We will miss you, but look forward to all your adventures yet to come!

 Almost time to go!

Is it really time to go?

Okay - we can go now!

Elder Christensen says goodbye to Elder Sala (AP)

Elder Phillips still doing missionary work until the last minute!

Elders Harbertson and Hauck - time to say goodbye!

Yes, it is difficult for all of us when our departing missionaries leave!

 Making room!

 Handing in allotment cards!

 Arrived at the airport garage!

Off to the ticket counter to check bags!

Checked bags and going over boarding passes!

Everyone has their boarding passes! Yay!
President gives instructions for their flights back to the United States!

Elder Phillips is ready to go!

Elder Lowe listens intently as President Thompson instructs them for the last time!

We all sang a song in the airport, and had a prayer!

Our departing Elders and Assistants.

Our prayer is that you will always keep close to the gospel, take the missionary principles you learned on mission and incorporate them throughout your life, reflect on the memories and lives you changed, know that we love you, and hope you will keep in contact with us often!

  1. Thank you so much for guiding our son these past two years. He has a strong foundation now. It’s great to have him home safely.
