NEW BAPTISMAL FONT
FOR MAPUTSOE LESOTHO
This is so exciting!
About 18 months ago, there was one small branch in Leribe (next to Maputsoe). At church there were only about six members, plus about four investigators. Our missionaries at the time met with the Branch President and set a goal to get 60 at church within three months, which sounded like a lofty goal. However, we held a missionwide fast. A month after the fast we had 68 people at church in this branch. It kept growing and soon there were over a hundred. We learned a lot of the members lived in Maputsoe, and it wasn't easy to get to church. We split the branch, and created the Maputsoe Branch. And yet again, approximately 2-3 months ago, the Maputsoe Branch was split after it hit over one hundred members as well! The work is really going well in this part of the world!
These missionaries had 21 investigators at church a few weeks ago on one Sunday!!
More baptisms were happening this weekend, and just in time for this baptismal font!
This isn't the only area that is doing great! All of our missionaries are working hard and finding many miracles as they are now on foot or biking!
